Strokes4Survivors is non-profit group under the Annapolis Rowing Club(ARC), a 501c3 charity. We strive to provide our survivors with a calming, conducive, and fulfilling experience as they prove that there is life after cancer. In addition to the volunteers and space provided by the wonderful members of ARC, Strokes4Survivors relies heavily on donations from outside businesses and individuals.
In the majority of cases, donations can be reimbursed with a Tax-Exempt Donation Receipt.
Support for the Annapolis Rowing Club
The Annapolis Rowing Club is a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for rowers of all ages and skill levels to learn about and participate in the wonderful sport of rowing. We have many rowing programs that cater to the skill level and interests of the community as well as a program which supports people recovering from cancer.
In addition to the annual dues received from club members, ARC sustains itself by holding Learn To Row classes every spring and summer, which are open to the public to come try out the sport! Additionally, ARC hosts the Wye Island Regatta each year which is open to all person-powered boats - and has become legendary for it's unique challenges offered to rowers & paddlers of all kinds. This race around Wye Island has become almost a right of passage among many!
If you would like to contribute to the Annapolis Rowing Club to help us sustain our programs, please consider making a tax-deductible donation. We thank you for your support!
